Membership Requirements


  • Maintain a GPA of 85 or higher
  • Enrolled currently in the 6th , 7th or 8th grade as All Saints Academy
  • Fully complete the application (Applications are given to eligible students directly from the ASA advisors)
  • Return the application by the deadline. Late applications are not accepted.


Character: NJHS students should follow the code of behavior in the school setting. Character includes traits of honesty, fairness, courtesy,  tolerance, cooperation, and striving daily to make the right choices. Disciplinary referrals can be grounds for dismissal.


Scholarship: Students must maintain an 85 overall average in core classes each quarter and receive passing grades in all classes in order to be invited to join and to remain a member.


Citizenship (Co-curricular): Students must show involvement in the community, without monetary compensation.

Citizenship Examples: School Sponsored Activities, Boy/Girl Scouts, Clubs sponsored outside of school, Community activities (i.e., dance, martial arts, swimming), Non-paid babysitting or tutoring of non-family member, Religious sponsored civic activities, Volunteer groups.


Service: Students must show involvement in service to the community without monetary compensation.

Service Examples: Help neighbors with yard work, Volunteer to assist during ASA camps, clubs and/or activities, Service done for community groups, Non-paid babysitting or tutoring of non-family member, Religious-sponsored civic activities, Volunteer groups,

Participate in the organization of fundraisers, Volunteer at a local animal shelter, retirement home, or church.

Leadership: Students need to show that they have guided a group of students or other individuals or that they took a leadership role by setting a good example, encouraging others to follow a good path, etc. The activity can happen periodically or be a one-time occurrence.

Leadership Examples: Class/peer tutoring, Dance assistant (unpaid), Officer of any group, club or committee, Patrol leader in Boy Scout/Girl Scout, Captain of a sports team for the season.
